i think that the users should chose if they want or don,t want people who are not member in the site to see their whole profile. for example i don,t care if evryone will see my profile.
first suggestion, learn to spell. After that, you need to be a member for a reason, so your idea is basic shit
Candy, I think I get what you're saying. But yeah, I think they want people to sign up for that reason, so they will get to see the whole profiles. But I agree that there shouldn't be anything wrong with displaying almost the whole profile so the nonmember can get an idea of those of us who come on here. But the contact info should be left not showing to nonmembers so that say, if I were a nonmember and found someone I might know and wanted to contact, I would have to sign up first. Although that might seem like some people would be just signing up here to meet others, that would be another thing to encourage more nonmembers to sign up, besides the games and getting to post on the Boards and Graffiti, and everything else.

I think you shouldn't be able to see all the profiles till you sign up. But once you sign up all people should have some kind of profile, yes.
It is already hard to find people who have filled out more than just a user name for a profile. So even if you sign up, there's no guarantee you'll learn much from many of the profiles.
Doesn't matter to me if none members see my profile or not. I just didn't fill in the fields I didn't want to expose such as my contact info. I'd rather give that kind of info to people I like. now, there's no need to be rood to people just because English is not their first language or because their spelling is bad, but I suppose some people just love presenting themselves as superiors even though they're not.
Just for your info, Candy's from Israel, so ... I don't blame her for her punctuation. It appears that that's the problem here. Anyway, i think that they should actually make it mandatory for you to fill in certain fields, because I find it extremely aggravating when I go to read about somebody and there's nothing there. Arg!

I hate checking out a profile, and finding out, that there's hardly anything there.
I can understand, wanting to keep contact info private, but at least, let people get to know you. Isn't that the whole point of profiles?
